GENERAL INFORMATION

WEATHER
Because Skydance is located at altitude, temperatures can fluctuate from day to night. Please plan for both cold and warm weather by bringing adequate clothing and sleeping equipment.
CAR PASS
All eligible vehicles require a car pass to park on top of the mountain for the duration of the festival. These can be purchased alongside your general admission tickets. We highly encourage you to CARPOOL to split the cost, reduce emissions and make the ride that much more enjoyable.
MOUNTAIN ACCESS
Only 4WD, AWD, CAMPERS & VANS will be granted access to the mountaintop. All other vehicles will be admitted up the mountain on a case by case basis depending on vehicle condition and driver confidence. Our 4WD bus will ferry you up & down to the summit.
Free Car Park at the bottom of the mountain.
AMENITIES
We are proud to be providing hot showers and toilets on the mountain top for all of our attendees, to keep you fresh and funky!
DRINKING WATER
Drinking water will be available onsite free of charge for the duration of the festival. Please bring reusable cups and containers to minimise waste.
REHYDRATION STATION
A fully stocked hydration station will be available onsite stocked with soft drinks, water & bags of ice for purchase.
SECURITY & MEDICAL
We have employed highly trained first aid staff to provide 24 hour medical care to any of our patrons while at the festival. If you or your friends have any injuries or health problems during the event please attend first aid to be treated. We have also employed a highly capable and caring security team who’s number one priority is patron safety. If you see any trouble or need assistance please communicate with our security staff or event staff directly.

Our 6m bell tents come pre-pitched and thoughtfully set up for up to four people to rest, reset and rise again. Spacious, comfortable and right at the heart of our mountain gathering. This will be your basecamp between dances, stars and sunrises.

Camping with your own setup is included in your ticket. Whether you’re flying solo or rolling deep with your festival fam, there’s plenty of space to create your own little nest on the mountain.We’re all about comfort, connection and care. So come prepared and help us keep the land as pristine as we found it.

TRANSPORT
WAYS TO GET TO THE FESTIVAL
Here are the different transport options available to help you get to the festival.

All vehicles on site must have a vehicle pass.
Only 4WD, AWD, CAMPERS and VANS will be granted access to the festival site.
All other vehicles will be admitted up the mountain on a case-by-case basis, depending on vehicle condition and driver confidence.
We’ll be running a 4WD shuttle bus to ferry people up and down the mountain as needed.

We strongly encourage ride sharing to reduce the number of cars on the mountain and minimise environmental impact.

It’s possible to reach the festival by public transport — though it’ll take a little extra planning.
Take a train to Tamworth Station, then a bus to Manilla, followed by a taxi to the site.
Visit the Transport NSW website for train and bus tickets.

You can fly into Tamworth Airport, then take a taxi directly to the festival site.
The drive takes around 45 minutes.

Upon successful completion of your purchase, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address with your tickets and receipt attached. You will receive the email from our ticketing partners at Humanitix. Please be sure to check your junk/spam folders.

No camping pass is required. All camping is included in your ticket purchase price.

Yes, all cars are required to purchase a car pass to park onsite for the duration of the festival. Car passes can be purchased alongside your general admission ticket.

Only 4WD / AWD & eligible VANS will be granted mountaintop access and may park next to their campsite if the vehicle is integrated into the camp ie. Van, cars with awnings, etc. All vehicles must purchase a Vehicle Pass to park on-site regardless of mountaintop access.

Gates open from 10 AM on Friday 3rd of October. For safety reasons, mountain access will be closed from 10 PM each night until 8 AM the following day.

All ticket holders will receive the full festival program via email before the event. You can also keep up to date on artist announcements via our social media platforms.

Yes, this is a BYO Festival. If you plan to bring drinks, please be eco conscious and bring reusable cups and containers.

Yes, there is excellent 4G mobile reception on site, but please bring portable charging devices (if you like). We know some of you love to go off the grid.

Yes, there will be ample drinking water available throughout the course of the festival.

We are proud to be able to offer you hot showers, free drinking water, boutique food vendors, and a designated kids space onsite.

Tickets must be purchased before sales close on the 3rd of October, no other tickets will be issued. If you arrive onsite without a ticket you will be turned away.

All of our merchants will be accepting contactless payments/cash so please bring your preferred method of payment.

Yes! Skydance is kid-friendly for children 0-10 years old and they are able to attend for free. However, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times and after sunset, kids should be back at their campsite with an adult. This is for two reason: safety first and foremost and secondly to respect that majority of attendees do not have children there and like to let their hair down and party at night.

Yes, there will be a designated kids’ area with a program of activities across the weekend. We will also have a camping area exclusively for parents.

Skydance is an 18+ event. Children 10 and under can attend free, however they must accompanied by an adult at all times.

We will have ample toilets and a selection of hot showers onsite to keep you fresh and funky during the fest.

The music kicks off on Friday, October 3rd @ 10 AM, and finishes on Monday, October 6th @ 4 AM.

Absolutely. From yoga, breathwork and ice baths, all workshops are included in your ticket price.

There is a small town with all facilities nearby, and major regional centre Tamworth located 45mins from site.
